This isn't about whether to powergame or not or whether powergaming is bad or not. I see and read and hear a lot of powergamers and their proponents looking at the game from a singular perspective. I want to open up discussion about a different perspective, one that might explain why not everyone is onboard with the powergaming mentality in their Dungeons & Dragons game.
